Raj Singh is British Born Punjabi who has been in the marketing arena since 2004.
Raj began his journey in the music industry by learning the Dhol (Punjabi Drum) in his early 20’s, after fine tuning and perfecting his art, Raj went onto to perform at Weddings, Birthday Parties as well as performing at more corporate events such as the Queens Jubilee, Notting Hill Carnival, The Nagar Kirtan (Religious Sikh Precession), Business Launch Events, various gigs across Europe, .and even a cameo playing the Dhol in the movie ‘It’s A Wonderful Afterlife’ directed by the renowned Gurinder Chadha best know for movies such as Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice, Viceroy’s House plus many more movies.
In 2003/2004 Raj was approached to play the Dhol on an undisclosed track which was subsequently played on radio as demo and was a resounding success. This led to an opportunity to co-produce a track in 2009, ‘Bhangra Punjabian Dha’. The track and colourful music video were released the same year and was successful in several countries.
